Our Founders

At Mama Ponchos, family, faith, and tradition are at the heart of everything we do. Born in Spearfish, South Dakota, our company was founded by an Ecuadorian wife and husband (Veronica and Mauricio) who share a deep passion for bringing South America’s rich heritage of craftsmanship to the world.

From the Andes mountains to your home, our products carry the spirit of generations of artisans who have perfected their skills in weaving and leatherwork. Each poncho, shawl, and purse tells a story, crafted by hand, inspired by culture, and designed for today’s lifestyle.
